Bruce was a member of the football and baseball teams at OCE in the late1940’s. He was awarded the school’s Outstanding Athlete in 1949 and was a member of the undefeated football team in 1949. He was inducted into NAIA District 2 Hall of Fame and is a loyal fan; Bruce hardly ever misses a home football game.
