Casey Cosler was a member of the women's basketball team at Western Oregon from 1985-1987. She was a third-team National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics All-American, NAIA District II Player of the Year and a two-time first-team All-District selection. She still holds the school record for most field goals scored in a game with 18 and is second on the school's single-season scoring list with 694 points. Despite only playing two seasons, she ranks in the top 10 all-time in career scoring (1,222), second in career scoring average with 19.4 points a game and shot an impressive 55.6 percent from the field over her two year-career, which is second in the school record books. She is a member of the Cascade Collegiate Conference Hall of Fame and Northwest Athletic Conference Hall of Fame. Casey is currently a social studies teacher at Dallas (OR) High School.
