Track and field athlete who competed at Oregon College of Education in the late 1960’s...One time school record holder in the triple jump...Was the NAIA District 2 champion in that event in 1968...Went on to a legendary coaching career in the prep ranks at South Eugene High School...The Axemen won nine state championships and earned runner-up status seven times...Also served as an assistant coach at the University of Oregon from 1982-98....Current indoor master’s champion in the triple jump...Inducted into the NAIA District 2 Hall of Fame.
