MONMOUTH, Ore. - Jason Slowey has added a first team All-American honor to his list of postseason awards as the senior from Medford, Ore., was selected by the Beyond Sports Network to their 2011 squad.

The left offensive tackle was named the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Offensive Lineman of the Year and was a unanimous first team all-conference selection. He also was recently named to numerous all-region teams including the All-Super Region 4 first team. The 6-5 offensive tackle from North Medford High School was named to four preseason All-American teams, including the D2football.com team and the Lindy's Sports Magazine team. He paved the way for the Wolves to rush for over 165 yards in five games and he protected the quarterback's blindside all season.

Slowey was one of five members of the GNAC to make the BSN All-American Team along with Humboldt State's Lyndon Rowells, Mike Proulx and Brian Blumberg, and Simon Fraser's Bo Palmer.
