PORTLAND, Ore. – Sophomore sprinter
Codi Blodgett took home his first conference honors being named the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Player of the Week in men's track in a release by the league office Monday afternoon.

The Clatskanie, Ore. native, Blodgett placed first in the 100 meters and second at 200 meters on Saturday at the Lane Preview in Eugene. His 11.13 time edged out teammate
Devon Fortier for the top spot in the 100 while his 200-meter effort of 22.85 was hundredths of a second faster than Fortier and
Aaron Whitaker. It was the first 100-meter race of the season for Blodgett after focusing on the 60-meter distance during indoor season.

It is the first career GNAC honor for Blodgett.

He and the rest of the Wolves are back in action this weekend in Salem for the Willamette Invitational on Saturday, March 25.
