Holding a two-point lead (35-33) with 12:42 to play in the second half, WOU went on a 10-point run to generate a double-digit lead. Minutes later, the Wolves put together a 10-1 run to make it an 18-point spread with the score 59-41.

After shooting 1-for-15 (6.6 percent) from 3-point range in the first half, Western Oregon converted 8-of-14 (57.1 percent) after the break. The Wolves outrebounded SMU on the offensive glass, 15-to-6 to create 23 second-chance points.

The Lancers turned a one-point deficit into a double-digit lead with a 16-4 run late in the first half. The Lancers trailed for only 13 seconds in the second half. CBU made their last six free throws on the final minute of play to preserve the lead.

Both teams were evenly matched in 3-pointers (5-to-5), free throw makes (17-to-21), rebounds (26-to-29) and turnovers (13-to-13), though California Baptist shot better from the field with a 53.2 percent rate (25-og-47). Azusa Pacific, meanwhile, was 21-of-50 overall for 42.0 percent.

PLAYER OF THE GAME
CBU's Kalidou Diouf scored a game-high 20 points on 7-of-1 shooting. Diouf was a perfect 6-of-5 from the free throw line and added a team-high seven rebounds.

After Point Loma cut Western Oregon's lead to 67-60 with 2:19 left in the contest, the Wolves pushed on a 4-0 run to restore its 11-point advantage at the 4:40 mark of the final period.

The Wolves forced 22 turnovers for 23 points. Despite allowing 14 offensive rebounds tonight, Western Oregon limited Point Loma to 16 second-chance points.

Up 61-56 with 1:43 left in the game, Saint Martin's used a 7-2 run to earn its first-ever NCAA tournament win in program history.
 
KEY NUMBERS
The Saints limited Cal Poly Pomona to just 37 percent shooting from the floor and held CPP to a 1 for 21 mark from beyond the arc. Cal Poly Pomona dominated the paint, however, as it outmuscled Saint Martin's down low, 32-20.

PLAYER OF THE GAME
Saint Martin's EJ Boyce totaled a game-high 19 points to go along with three rebounds and two assists. Five of Boyce's six field goals came from behind the three-point line.

KEY STRETCH
Up by one with 19 seconds left in the contest, Azusa Pacific's Petar Kutlesic followed up a missed three-pointer with a put-back layup to give APU a three-point advantage. The Cougars were able to put together a defensive stop on DSU's successive possession to earn the upset over the PacWest champion.
 
KEY NUMBERS
Despite being outrebounded 44-33, Azusa Pacific limited Dixie State 33.8 percent shooting (22-65) from the field while holding the Trailblazers to 4 of 14 from beyond the arc. Three Cougars finished the afternoon with 15 points or more. Azusa Pacific splits the season-series with Dixie State after suffering an 88-73 defeat on Dec. 9.

PLAYER OF THE GAME
Azusa Pacific's Darien McClain supplied a game-high 21 points on 7 of 16 shooting from the field. The junior also led all players with six three-pointers in the contest.

The Lancers' Cory Lange caught fire in the final period as he went 4 for 6 from downtown to tally 14 second-half points. Lange knocked down his fourth three-pointer of the night to extend CBU's lead 54-48 with 9:11 left in the half.
 
KEY NUMBERS
Cal Baptist outrebounded the Tritons 34 to 22 and outscored UC San Diego from the 3-point line 42-21. This is the second time that Cal Baptist has defeated UC San Diego this season with first win coming in a 78-73 decision on Nov. 18.

PLAYER OF THE GAME
Cal Baptist's Jordan Heading pumped in a game-high 26 points on 7 of 14 shooting while shooting 60 percent (6-10) from beyond the arc.
