Wolves add another to recruiting class
Richardson mug
MONMOUTH, Ore. - Western Oregon University head men's basketball coach Craig Stanger has announced the addition of Rhett Richardson to the 2010-11 recruiting class.

Richardson inked a national letter of intent with WOU and will join the Wolves in the fall and will be pursuing a degree in American Sign Language. The 6-8 center from Sacramento comes to Western after competing two seasons at Sierra Junior College.

Coach Stanger had this to say about the latest addition to the team's frontline: "Rhett will be able to provide significant physicality and athleticism to our front line. With his ability to play above the rim, Rhett will improve our ability to defend the paint and control the boards. His blue collar work ethic and team mindset forces his team mates to work hard.

"Richardson will be a nice compliment to Jordan (Freelander), DeAngelo (Davis) and Kris (White) who signed (in May). 2010 is looking to be a very solid recruiting class. We are excited to be bringing a quality person like Rhett into the Wolves' family."
