>>> 2017 All-GNAC Teams

PORTLAND, Ore.—
For the fourth straight season, senior Paul Revis was selected as one of the top receivers in the GNAC, the league announced on Wednesday.

Along with the two first team selections, six Wolves were selected to the second team with Zack Suarez, Jacob Zartman and Bryson Dixon representing the offense and Michael Kluge, Tyler Johnson and Nathan Jones
from the defense.

Revis was one of three players in the conference to be selected first team All-GNAC for the fourth straight season, joining Humboldt State offensive lineman Alex Cappa and Central Washington linebacker Kevin Haynes.

Revis closed out his career with more than 20 WOU NCAA DII-era school records, including receptions (274), receiving yards (3,998), receiving touchdowns (32) and all-purpose yards (6,713).

In addition, Revis picked up first-team honors as a punt returner, giving the Scapoose native eight total all-conference honors in his career. Revis returned four punts for touchdowns during his career with over 1,000 yards on 76 returns for a 14.0 yards per return average.

At the heart of the WOU defense, Highburger earned his second consecutive first team selection. Highburger led the GNAC with 102 tackles and 9.3 tackles per game. Eleven of his tackles were for a loss, a total good for No. 6 in the GNAC. The junior also recorded 4.5 sacks, three forced fumbles and an interception.

Suarez caught 33 passes for 449 yards and five scores. His TC collection was the fourth best amongst GNAC receivers.

Anchoring the offensive line, Zartman and Dizon landed on the second team list in back-to-back seasons with the announcement.

A defensive tackle, Kluge appeared in 40 games during his four-year career and notched 105 tackles over that span. This season, Kluge tied for tenth in the GNAC with 8.5 tackles for loss.

Johnson, a linebacker for the Wolves, also played in 40 games during his career with WOU and finished with 259 total tackles, including 58 this season in eight games. Despite missing action due to injury, Johnson still added seven tackles for loss, four pass breakups and tied for the team lead with four interceptions.

A safety on the team, Jones finished fourth on the squad with 45 total tackles. Jones intercepted two passes on the season and added with pass breakups to share the team lead.

Offensive lineman Brad Christensen, quarterback Nick Duckworth and wide receiver Keoni Piceno were chosen as honorable mentions to the All-GNAC team.
