Tarance Glynn, a sophomore forward from Molalla, Ore. (Molalla High School), scored 40 points, grabbed 22 rebounds and had three blocks to lead the Wolves to a sweep of Western Washington and Simon Fraser. Glynn had 33 points and 14 rebounds in Thursday's 95-80 win against Simon Fraser. He then added seven points and eight rebounds in an 84-81 overtime win against Western Washington. All three of his baskets against the Vikings were crucial, including one with 16 seconds left in regulation and two in the final 18 seconds of the overtime period. His steal set up the field goal that gave his team an 82-81 lead. Glynn is the first Western Oregon men's basketball player to be named GNAC Player of the Week this season and the first since Rico Myles earned the award on Feb. 8, 2010.
