Amanda Schumaker, the sophomore javelin thrower from Gladstone, Ore. (Gladstone High School) recorded an NCAA provisional standard in the first meet of the season with a throw of 145-10 (44.45m). The 2010 All-American looks primed to return to Nationals after registering the top mark in the country by nearly four feet after the first weekend of competition.
