Jade Haas, a 5-9 senior guard from Elma, Wash. (Elma HS/Lower Columbia College), scored 40 points and had 11 rebounds leading the Wolves to 16- and 11-point wins over Central Washington and Northwest Nazarene, snapping a seven-game losing streak dating back to the end of the 2010-11 season. 

Haas made 18 of 30 shots in the two contests as she combined with teammate Rylee Peterson for 83 points.  "Everyone expects Rylee to do it but where Jade has come from last season is amazing," said WOU head coach Greg Bruce. "She is a difference maker because I don't feel anyone can keep up with her. If we can get her the ball in the open floor I feel pretty good about that."
