Ashley Potter, a senior from Springfield, Ore. (Thurston HS), earned an NCAA provisional qualifying standard in the triple jump at the UW Invitational. Her leap of 39-1 (11.91m) broke her own school record leap by three inches and was the second longest mark in Great Northwest Athletic Conference history. She now stands seventh in Division II with that mark. Potter also moved into eighth place in school history in the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.31.
