Amanda Schumaker, a two-time All-American, grabbed a provisional qualifying mark in the javelin at the Willamette Opener on Saturday, Mar. 3. The junior from Gladstone, Ore., posted a throw of 145-11 (44.49m) on her fourth attempt to win the meet by over 23 feet.
