Amanda Schumaker, a junior from Gladstone, Ore. (Gladstone HS), ¬ automatically qualified for the NCAA Division II national meet in the javelin with a winning throw of 151-6 at the Oregon Preview in Eugene Sunday. Schumaker's throw ranks eighth in GNAC history and third in the Western Oregon record books.
