Ashley Potter, a senior from Springfield, Ore. (Thurston HS), moved up the all-time GNAC performance list into second place with a career-long leap of 40-1.5 (12.23m). With that mark she became just the second member of the GNAC to ever surpass the 40 foot mark in the triple jump. That mark improved her NCAA provisional mark and school record by 4.75 inches with that mark.
