Western Oregon University Wolves

Ashley Potter, a senior horizontal jumper from Springfield, Ore. (Thurston HS), won the women's triple jump at the GNAC Outdoor Championships with a leap of 40-9 (12.42m). That mark shattered the GNAC record and secured her spot atop the Western Oregon all-time top 10 list. That mark gave Potter an NCAA auto qualifying standard. She will return to the NCAA Championships after placing second in the triple jump during the Indoor season.
