Pomeroy, a junior right handed pitcher out of Mossyrock, Wash. (Mossyrock HS), led the Wolves to wins on the backside of two doubleheaders against Central Washington to help WOU win the series. Pomeroy won game two of the series 7-1 after pitching a complete game and allowing just five hits and one unearned run. She then came back in the final game of the series and again threw a complete game. She gave up just six hits and four runs (three earned) while striking out five in the game. Pomeroy is now 2-1 on the season.
Apr. 9-15
Hannah Pomeroy, a pitcher from Mossyrock, Wash. (Mossyrock HS) picked up her second GNAC Pitcher of the Week honors of the season as she earned four wins over a five-day span. Pomeroy, who started the week with a 2-7 record, won four of five decisions allowing just six runs in 25 2/3 innings. Pomeroy allowed 25 hits and walked just six, while fanning 11. Among her victories was a 2-0 shutout of Central Washington Saturday, her first no-run game and WOU's second shutout of the season.
Apr. 23-29
Pomeroy, a junior right hander, posted a 2-1 record and had a 1.64 ERA as the Wolves finished off their season with a 4-2 road trip. Pomeroy made five appearances in the six games, allowing just seven runs in 21 1/3 innings. The Wolves won 16 of their final 22 games after losing to Sonoma State on Apr. 1 to fall to 7-20.
