Blackwell, a junior catcher from Fruitland, ID (Fruitland HS) batted .471 (8-for-17) as the Wolves split four games at Turlock, Calif., with Cal State Stanislaus. Among his hits were three doubles. He also scored two runs and knocked in two others. In the two games Blackwell caught, he did not allow a stolen base.
