Andy Avgi was named Red Lion Great Northwest Athletic Conference Player of the Week after he led the Wolves to a pair of victories at the Capital City Classic. Avgi earned tournament most valuable player honors after he scored 52 points and had 15 rebounds in the two wins. Avgi, who leads the GNAC in field goal percentage shooting 71.0 percent (44 of 62), made 20 of 25 shots (including 10 of 11 against Corban), including his only three-pointer.  He also blocked two shots and had three steals.
