Western Oregon javelin thrower Amanda Schumaker earned her fourth consecutive All-American honor as the senior finished in sixth-place at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships. With the honor, Schumaker becomes the first WOU student-athlete to earn four consecutive All-American honors in the same event or sport since the move to the NCAA Division II level. Schumaker is also the first athlete in GNAC history to earn All-American honors four years in a row in the outdoor meet in the same event.
