Matt Schmidt, a senior forward from Keizer, Ore. (McNary High School), scored 36 points, shot 71.4-percent from the floor (10-14), 75-percent from the three-point line (3-4) and 86.7-percent from the free throw line (13-15) to lead the Wolves to a rare road sweep in Alaska. The WOU forward scored 22 in a 15-point win at Fairbanks and had 14 in an 11-point win at Anchorage, as WOU became just the seventh team in GNAC history to earn a sweep on their Alaska road swing. On the season, Schmidt leads the Wolves and ranks 14th in the conference in scoring averaging 13.5 points per game.
