Avgi led the No. 10 Western Oregon Wolves to a 2-0 weekend at the Notre Dame de Namur Thanksgiving tournament by averaging 26.5 points, six rebounds and three steals against the host Argonauts and Holy Names. In 22 minutes against NDNU, he was 9 of 12 from the floor, including a perfect 4 of 4 from 3-point land, leading to 24 points. On Saturday night, Avgi hit 10 shots, including a triple, and was 8 of 10 from the foul line for a season-high 29 points in 32 minutes.
