Western Oregon senior Andy Avgi averaged 27.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.5 blocks in a 2-0 week for the Wolves against two of the top teams in the GNAC – Alaska Anchorage and Alaska. Avgi torched the previously unbeaten Seawolves for 31 points on 13-of-21 shooting and 4-of-4 from the line. He added four blocks and three rebounds. What followed was an accuracy display from distance, as Avgi hit 5-of-8 shots behind the 3-point line and 9-of-10 at the stripe to post a game-high 24 points against Alaska.
