Three-peat for David Ribich!

Western Oregon junior David Ribich was named GNAC Cross Country Male Athlete of the Week for the third consecutive time on Monday morning after pacing the league's runners at the Sundodger Invitational, hosted by the University of Washington, last Saturday.
 
Ribich ran a personal best time of 24:04.9 in the 8,000-meter race to place second overall and post the fastest mark of any Division II runner among 291 total entries. The time was a 34-second improvement for Ribich compared to the same race a year ago.
 
He was four seconds off the pace of the race winner, but finished with a margin just better than three seconds over Michel Ramirez of Alaska Anchorage in the race for second place.
 
It is the third consecutive GNAC cross country weekly honor during Ribich's season/career, after winning his previous races at the John Frank OSU Invitational and the Ash Creek Invitational #1.
