ELLENSBURG, Wash. - Rylee Peterson capped off her collegiate career with 17 points to lead three Wolves in double figures, but it would not be enough to overcome Central Washington on its senior night (Feb. 25) as the Wolves fell 74-54.

The Wildcats were hungry for the win as they held WOU to 33 percent shooting and outrebounded them 45-29. Sophie Russell had 18 points to lead all scorers.

Central Washington scored the first two baskets of the game and would never trail. A Rylee Peterson three-pointer would cut the Wildcats' lead to one with 18:50 left in the first half but that is as close as WOU would get. CWU would take a 32-24 lead into halftime but would push it to 20 points by scoring the first 12 points of the second half.

Jade Haas had 11 points and a team-high six rebounds for WOU. Melissa Fowler would add 10 points.

This was the final game of the season for both teams.
