MONMOUTH, Ore. -- The Western Oregon University women's basketball team completes the first half of Great Northwest Athletic Conference play Thursday and Saturday at Seattle Pacific University and Montana State University Billings.

LAST TIME OUT
• Simon Fraser pulled away from Western Oregon on the road last Saturday, 56-47, for its 10th win of the season.
• The Clan's Rebecca Langmead finished with the fifth best block total in GNAC history. The senior had seven blocks, which is also the most in the conference in the past six years, matching her career-high total.
• Simon Fraser was limited to 35 percent shooting from the field, but held WOU to a season-low 25.8 percent.
• Dana Goularte led the Wolves with 14 points. The junior was 4-of-7 from the field. Chantel Divilbiss chipped in 10 points.

WESTERN OREGON STORYLINES
• In the Great Northwest Athletic Conference, Dana Goularte is currently third in blocks per game (2.0), second in field goal percentage (51.7), third in rebounds (9.1), and her 17.6 points per outing is third.
• Kelsey Henry reached career-high point totals in three straight games, at Alaska Anchorage (10), at Alaska (10), and versus WWU (17).
• Western Oregon is 5-0 when it finishes with a better shooting percentage than its opponent, but 0-10 when the opponent has a better field goal percentage.
• The Wolves are 2-9 this season when their opponents score at least 60 points in a game.

ABOUT THE FALCONS
• After losing three straight games, Seattle Pacific has reeled off three consecutive victories entering the matchup with Western Oregon.
• The Falcons swept their road trip last week with wins at Central Washington and then-ranked No. 18 Northwest Nazarene.
• SPU leads the conference in blocks per game (5.1), which is also 12th in NCAA Div. II.
• Katie Benson's six double-doubles leads the GNAC. Her 20.7 points and 9.9 rebounds per game averages are also second in the conference.
• Benson and Maddey Pflaumer are both in the GNAC top 10 in blocks.
• As a team, Seattle Pacific is in the nation's top 25 in field goal percentage defense, holding opponents to 36.7 percent.
• SPU's opponents are averaging 62.5 points per game.

SERIES HISTORY
• It will be the 38th matchup, with SPU holding a 32-5 advantage.
• WOU has lost 18 straight at Seattle Pacific, where it is 2-18 all-time.
• The last Wolves win at SPU was a 71-47 decision in 1981.

ABOUT THE YELLOWJACKETS
• Montana State Billings has won four of its last five games. It has also won seven of its last nine.
• The Yellowjackets' last two losses have been by a combined seven points, and both were on the road.
• MSUB has won all seven of its games at home this season.
• MSU Billings leads the conference in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.08), personal fouls per game (15.5), rebound margin (7.3) and turnovers per game (12.5).
• It's turnovers and fouls per game are third and fourth nationally.
• Bobbi Knudsen is in the GNAC top 10 in seven statistical categories.
• The senior's 5.9 assists per game is sixth in NCAA Div. II, and leads the conference. She also is atop the GNAC at 91 percent from the free throw line.

• It will be the 23rd matchup, with MSUB holding a 17-5 advantage.
• WOU is 1-9 all-time against the Yellowjackets in Billings.
• The only Wolves win at MSUB was a 68-64 decision on Jan. 17, 2009.
