MONMOUTH, Ore. -- The Western Oregon University women's basketball team travels to Simon Fraser University (B.C.) Thursday and Western Washington University Saturday in Great Northwest Athletic Conference action.
LAST TIME OUT
• Alaska-Anchorage raced away from Western Oregon Monday, 73-47, in a postponed matchup.
• The Seawolves outscored WOU in the second half, 40-21, to pull away with the victory.
• The Seawolves finished 40 percent from the field after shooting 47 percent in the second half.
• UAA controlled the glass, outrebounding Western Oregon, 54-33.

Dana Goularte scored 14 points, grabbed five rebounds, and blocked five Alaska-Anchorage shots.
WESTERN OREGON STORYLINES
• In the Great Northwest Athletic Conference,
Dana Goularte is currently third in blocks per game (2.05), second in field goal percentage (50.2), second in rebounds (9.3), and her 18.6 points per outing is third.
• Western Oregon is 5-1 when it finishes with a better shooting percentage than its opponent, but 1-13 when the opponent has a better field goal percentage.
• The Wolves are 2-12 this season when their opponents score at least 60 points in a game.
ABOUT THE CLAN
• Simon Fraser enters the game after two straight victories, and it has won five of its last six games.
• The Clan is receiving 15 points in the WBCA NCAA Div. II Top 25 poll, sitting unofficially at No. 34.
• SFU's Erin Chambers leads the GNAC with 23.1 points per game, which is also sixth in NCAA Div. II.
• She is making an average of 2.1 three-pointers per outing, along with teammate Katie Lowen.
