Bryan Berg led a late second half surge with 17 points off the bench, including five makes from distance, but the Western Oregon fell in its penultimate non-league matchup at Oregon, 93-54.

The Wolves (4-4) fell behind early 6-0 to the 23
rd-ranked Ducks (6-2) and never faced a deficit lower than double-digits after the 14:33 mark of the first half.

Berg was solid in the second half hitting four of his five shots from deep and assisting on two other makes in 18 minutes on the floor.

Oregon shot 47 percent for the game (31-66), including 16 of 26 (61.5 percent) in the first half. Four UO players scored in double figures led by Dillon Brooks with 21 points. Roman Sorkin missed just one shot en route to 15 points off the bench. In all, the Ducks' bench outpaced the Wolves for the night, 50-29.

Western Oregon surged for an 11-0 run over a span of 1:28. Berg sparked the rally with back-to-back 3-pointer while
Malik Leaks followed suit from distance. Leaks capped the rally with a layup.

The Wolves saw Leaks get into double figures with 10 points in 21 minutes. Junior forward J.J. Chirnside matched his career-high with five rebounds in five minutes late in the second half.
