MONMOUTH, Ore. --- The Western Oregon women's soccer team lost to Montana State Billings 1-0 Friday at WOU Soccer Field.

The Wolves (5-6-4 overall, 2-6-3 GNAC) outshot the Yellowjackets (2-10-4, 2-7-2) 15-12 in the game and 9-6 on shots on goal, but couldn't break through.

MSUB got on the board in the second half when Sydney Torres found a loose ball in front of the gall and tapped it in for a score in the 55th minute.

Chloe Smith and Briana Kubli led WOU with three shots apiece with Smith tallying three shots on goal. Olivia Holdenried picked up four saves for the Wolves.

WOU has a quick turnaround as it hosts Seattle Pacific 11 a.m. Saturday at WOU Soccer Field.
