BURNABY, British Columbia --- The Western Oregon women's soccer fell on the road to Simon Fraser 2-0 Thursday night at SFU Stadium.
The Wolves (4-3-4 overall, 1-3-3 GNAC) allowed two first-half goals (17th and 32nd minutes) and never recovered despite outshooting the Red Leafs (3-4-4, 2-3-2) 15-11 overall and 10-3 in the second half.
Chloe Smith led the Wolves with five shots, including one on goal, while
Jenna Efraimson and
Briana Kubli had two shots apiece.
Olivia Holdenried finished the game with five saves at keeper for WOU.
The Wolves return to action 1 p.m. Saturday at Saint Martin's in Lacey, Washington.
