MONMOUTH, Oregon --- The Western Oregon women's soccer team had its chances, but eventually tied with Central Washington 0-0 Thursday afternoon at WOU Soccer Field.
The Wolves (4-2-3 overall, 1-2-2 GNAC) outshot CWU 10-3 in the contest - including 6-2 on shots on goal - but couldn't find the back of the net against the Wildcats (1-5-3, 0-3-2).
It was a physical contest on the wet surface of WOU Soccer Field with a combined 33 fouls called in the contest (17 on Western, 16 on Central Washington).

Olivia Holdenried picked up the shutout for the Wolves, collecting two saves.
Savannah Taylor had a team-high four shots - including two on goal - whileÂ
Erika Gonzalez-Moreno had two shots with both on goal for WOU.
The Wolves return to play Saturday when they host Northwest Nazarene at 11 a.m.
