BELLINGHAM, Wash. --- The Western Oregon men's basketball team went cold from long distance and fell to Central Washington 80-66 Thursday afternoon in the GNAC Championships quarterfinals at Carver Gym.

WOU (12-14) went 5-for-26 (19.2 percent) from 3-point range in the contest (and shot 41.4 percent overall) while the Wildcats (14-14) shot 50.8 percent from the field and were 8-for-20 from beyond the arc.

The Wolves led 20-19 with 8:31 left to go after a Zach Moore 3-pointer before CWU went on a 7-0 run to take the lead for what turned out to be for good as the Wildcats pushed the lead to nine at the half. WOU wouldn't get closer than nine points the rest of the way.

Cameron Cranston led WOU with 15 points to go along with four rebounds and two steals. John Morrill-Keeler had 12 points and three blocks, Jahville Collins had 12 points, Cameron Benzel had eight points and a team-high six rebounds while Qiant Myers had seven points and nine assists.
