CARSON, Calif. --- After battling back from a 2-0 halftime deficit, the Western Oregon men's soccer team fell in the final minute to Cal State Dominguez Hills 3-2 Thursday night at Toro Stadium.
The Wolves (2-1) fell behind the Toros (1-0-1) after DH scored goals in the 10th and 13th minute to take an early 2-0 lead.
The score remained that way until the second half when
Abraham Villalobos scored on assists from
Gabriel Silva and
Yahir Ocampo in the 57th minute to make it 2-1. WOU tied it up in the 78th minute on an
Edson Jimenez goal assisted by
Moises Cisneros - but would fall when the Toros scored with 47 seconds remaining to suffer their first loss of the season.
WOU returns to action 11:30 a.m. Saturday as it travels to take on Cal State San Marcos.
