MONMOUTH, Ore. --- A slow start for the Western Oregon men's basketball team dug the Wolves a hole they couldn't get out of as WOU fell to Seattle Pacific XX-XX Thursday night at New PE Building.

The Wolves (4-10 overall, 1-5 GNAC), who are missing several key players due to injury, fell behind 21-0 to the Falcons (11-9, 4-3) to start the contest and it was a deficit it couldn't recover from.
Kris Cook paced the Wolves with 19 points, going 5-for-8 from 3-point range while adding two blocks and two steals (he also played all 40 minutes).
Jason Gallant added 13 points five rebounds and a team-high five assists While
Cameron Benzel had seven points, seven rebounds and two blocks and freshman
Makaio Morphy had seven points, five rebounds and a team-best four steals.
WOU returns to action 4:15 p.m. Saturday against Montana State Billings in Monmouth as it will be the Wolves' annual Alumni Night.
