The Wolves are coming off a pair of losses that saw their five-game home win streak snapped. In Saturday's loss to nationally ranked Western Washington, Cali McClave had a quarter to remember as she scored all 20 points for WOU in the period, going 9-for-9 from the field (including 2-for-2 from 3-point range). McClave continues to lead the team in scoring and is sixth in the GNAC at 16.0 points per game. She also ranks in the top 10 in the conference in steals (2.3 - 4th) and assists (3.1 - 9th).

Also ranking in the top in statistics in the conference is Kiylynn Dawkins in field goal percentage (57.1 - 3rd) and blocks (0.8 - 10th), Ana McClave in rebounding (7.6 - 8th) and Triniti Youngblood in assists (3.6 - 4th).

The Seawolves improved their win streak to nine games thanks to a pair of road wins in Washington last week as they sit two games back of conference leader Montana State Billings.

UAA showcases a balanced attack as it ranks second in the conference in scoring yet doesn't have a player in the top 10 in the GNAC in scoring. Six-foot-3 Tori Hollingshead leads the team in scoring (12.9), rebounding (7.3 - 9th in the GNAC), blocks (2.3 - 3rd) and field goal percentage (55.9). The Seawolves also feature five of the top nine players in the conference in steals.

The 37 wins in a row against WOU is the longest streak for any team in any sport at UAA.

The Nanooks had their losing streak move to seven games after dropping a pair of road contests last week. Two-win Alaska ranks 281st out of 291 Division II teams in scoring margin at minus-18.9. 

Alaska did get Destiny Reimer back to the lineup last week for the first time since mid-November as she leads the team in scoring at 10.2 points per game. Emma McKenney is second on the team in scoring at 9.6 while Kayla Johnson is just behind her at 9.5. Emma Wass is first on the team and second in the GNAC in rebounds.

MCCLAVE HITS 1,000 CAREER POINTS & MOVED TO NO. 2 IN 3-POINTERS ON WOU ALL-TIME LIST
WOU senior Cali McClave reached the 1,000-point mark earlier this season and now sits at 1,150 points. She has a chance to reach the WOU all-time top five with Katie Torland (2007-10) in the No. 5 spot at 1,257 points. The all-time record is held by Leada Berkey (2004-08) with 1,558 points.

McClave also reached the No. 2 spot in 3-pointers made with 144 - passing Sydney Azorr (116 - 2014-18), Stacy Jepson (120 - 1989-92) and Shelly Potter (122 - 1992-96) this season. The all-time record is held by Sara Zahler (2007-11) with 172.

MCCLAVE WITH A QUARTER TO REMEMBER
Cali McClave was sizzling hot in the second quarter against nationally ranked Western Washington on Thursday, Jan. 18 - scoring 20 points on 9-for-9 shooting (2-for-2 from 3-point range). She scored every point for the Wolves in the quarter and finished the game with a game-high 26 points in the Wolves' loss to the Vikings in Monmouth.
