WOU men's soccer moves up a spot in national rankings to No. 24

The Western Oregon men's soccer team moved up a spot in the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 this week to No. 24 when the poll was released Tuesday.

The Wolves, 6-1-1 on the season and riding a seven-match unbeaten streak (6-0-1), took care of business last week opening GNAC play with a 1-0 home win over Western Washington on Thursday before picking up a 3-1 win at Montana State Billings on Saturday.

Last week was the first time in the program's short three-year history it reached the national top 25 - coming in at No. 25. WOU's only loss this season came to No. 9 Colorado State-Pueblo to open the season in Pueblo.

The Wolves continue GNAC play this week as they host defending conference champion Simon Fraser at noon Thursday before traveling to take on Seattle Pacific on Saturday.
