ELLENSBURG, Wash. --- The Western Oregon men's basketball team dropped its game against No. 14 Cal State San Bernardino 101-64 Sunday to close out the GNAC/CCAA Crossover in Nicholson Arena.

The Wolves (1-4 overall) trailed Coyotes (4-1) 40-28 with 3:43 left in the first when Jason Gallant scored the final eight points of the opening 20 minutes for WOU to help close the gap to 42-36 before CSUSB pulled away in the second half.

Jason Gallant finished with the 18 points while Anjay Cortez had 12 points and two steals and Carson Frincke had 10 points - going 3-for-4 from 3-point range.

The Wolves head to Corvallis to take on Oregon State 8 p.m. Tuesday in an exhibition game before heading to California for the Ron Logsdon Classic, taking on Stanislaus State 5 p.m. Friday.
