MONMOUTH, Ore. --- Western Oregon midfielder Yahir Ocampo Navarro was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-West Region First Team on Tuesday.

The sophomore from Aloha, Oregon, adds it to his D2CCA All-West Region First Team honors earned earlier this season as well as being selected All-GNAC First Team. Overall in two seasons, Ocampo Navarro has been named D2CAA and USC All-Region First Team (both in 2024), D2CAA All-West Region Second Team (2023), USCO All-West Region Third Team (2023) and twice named All-GNAC First Team. He was the only non-senior on the USC All-West Region First Team. 

Ocampo Navarro led the GNAC champion Wolves in goals (8) and points (21) while finishing second in assists (5). He tied for the team lead with three game-winning goals and scored a game-tying goal in the 82nd minute in the Wolves' NCAA Championship Second Round loss to CSU Pueblo - WOU's first NCAA appearance in the program's third year of existence.
