ELLENSBURG, Wash. --- The Western Oregon men's basketball team fell to Central Washington 97-81 Saturday night at Nicholson Pavilion.
The Wolves (5-21 overall, 2-16 GNAC) were as close as five in the second half after
Carson Frincke drained a 3-pointer to make it 57-52 at the 17:04 mark, but the Wildcats (18-9, 11-7) slowly pulled away.
The trio of
Jason Gallant (27 points, 40 minutes),
Kris Cook (27 points, 38 minutes) and
Cameron Benzel (16 points, eight rebounds, three steals - 38 minutes) played all but four minutes combined in the game and totaled 70 of the Wolves' 81 points.
