Wolves women's soccer ties with Seattle Pacific, 1-1

SEATTLE --- The Western Oregon women's soccer team played Seattle Pacific to a 1-1 draw on Thursday night at Interbay Stadium.

The Wolves (7-3-2 overall, 4-2-1 GNAC) took a 1-0 lead in the 27th minute when the Falcons (4-3-5, 2-2-3) scored an own goal.

The score remained that way until there was just 25 seconds left when SPU was awarded a PK with 25 seconds left - which it converted to help the Falcons escape with a draw.

Each team took 15 shots in the match with SPU taking seven on target and the Wolves five. Bella Lopez picked up six saves in the draw for the Wolves.
