MONMOUTH, Ore. --- After six seasons, Western Oregon University and head men's basketball coach
Wes Pifer have parted ways.
"Coach Pifer is a dynamic and passionate leader. I am grateful for his dedication to our student-athletes, the basketball program and the university," WOU Executive Director of Intercollegiate Athletics
Randi Lydum said. "We wish Wes and his family the very best in the future."
Under Pifer's guidance, the Wolves compiled a record of 50-84 overall and 32-58 in Great Northwest Athletic Conference play.
The search for the next head men's basketball coach will commence immediately.
