FRISCO, Texas --- The Western Oregon men's soccer team moved its unbeaten streak to six with a 2-2 draw against No. 25 St. Mary's (TX) on Thursday at the Toyota Soccer Center.
WOU (3-1-2) fell behind early against the Rattlers (1-1-4) in the second minute and the score remained 1-0 until the second half.
The Wolves evened the game at 1-1 with a goal by
Yahir Ocampo Navarro assisted by
Michael Divano in the 64th minute. WOU took the lead 11 minutes later as Divano scored to make it 2-1. The Wolves appeared it may come out with the win against the ranked Rattlers, but St. Mary's scored in the 87th minute to make the final 2-2.
The Wolves return to action in Frisco Saturday against Midwestern State.
