MONMOUTH, Ore. — The Western Oregon women's basketball team dropped a 49-39 decision to Saint Martin's on Saturday afternoon at the Wolves Athletic Center.
The Wolves stayed within striking distance into the second half before Saint Martin's pulled away with a decisive fourth-quarter run, outscoring Western Oregon 20-13 over the final 10 minutes to seal the road win.
Ciona Wells led Western Oregon with 10 points, while Kylani Rookstool added nine points on three made 3-pointers. Triniti Youngblood chipped in six points and a team-high 10 rebounds.
Western Oregon travels to take on Northwest Nazarene on Thursday.
