SALT LAKE CITY --- The Western Oregon men's soccer team for the second match in a row to start the season rallied from a two goal deficit Saturday, this time picking up a 3-3 draw at Westminster.
The Wolves (1-0-1), who rallied from a 2-0 deficit Thursday and beat MSU Denver 3-2, trailed 3-1 at the half before getting a goal from
Archie Dhima in the 57th minute (his third in two games) on an assist from
Ignacio Brandan to cut the deficit to one.
WOU found the equalizer against the Griffins (0-0-2) in the 74th minute on an
Erick Chavez goal.
The Wolves' first-half goal came from Brandan, assisted by
Isaak Abraham.
WOU heads to California next week, taking on Cal Poly Pomona on Wednesday and Dominguez Hills on Friday.
