Biography
AS A JUNIOR (2008-09)
Outdoor: Participated in four meets…Won the 3000m at the Pacific Northwest Relays with a time of 9:23.70…Also posted times of 2:04.14 in the 800m, a 4:26.11 in the 1500m and a 16:22.89 in the Lewis & Clark Invite. Indoor: Ran the 800m in the UW Indoor Preview, the Pilot Indoor and the GNAC Indoor Championships…Posted a season-best time of 2:02.6 at the Pilot Indoor. Cross Country: Ran in the first four races of the year…Best time was 22:53.88 at the Bush Park Invitational…Top finish was 35th in Western Oregon's Summer End Run…His 35th place finish helped the Wolves place second at the Summer End Run…Placed 37th in the Pacific Lutheran Invite as the team finished first.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2007-08)
Cross Country: Participated in four of six races for Western Oregon…Best finish came at the Saint Martin's Invite when he placed 16th and helped the team finish first…Other finishes include 35th at the Pacific Lutheran Invite (27:11) and 68th in both the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Championships (28:19.19) and at the West Coast Preview.
AS A FRESHMAN (2006-07)
Cross Country: Participated in five of the six WOU meets, including the GNAC Championships, where he placed 43rd, and the NCAA Regional Championships…Had his best run at Pacific University where he finishing 13th overall and second for Western Oregon…In the spring, had a season-best in the steeplechase of 10:11.40…Clocked 15:56 in the 5K on the track.
PRIOR TO WOU
A 2006 graduate of Valley Catholic in Beaverton, Ore…Earned one letter apiece in basketball and swimming while earning four letters in both cross country and track and field…Second team all state...Was a two-time first team all-league honoree in cross country...Won the league title in the 800 meters and placed fourth at the state meet...Has a career best of 53.3 in the 400 meters, 1:57.5 in the 800, and 4:14 in the 1,500.
