AS A JUNIOR (2019)
NCBWA and D2CCA All-West Region First Team... GNAC Pitcher of the Year... First Team All-GNAC... NCBWA National Pitcher of the Week and GNAC Pitcher of the Week after striking out 15 in seven innings March 30 against Saint Martin's... the 15 strikeouts represented a single-game school record and tied the GNAC record with five other pitchers... led conference in ERA (2.35) by a 1.61 margin over every other qualified pitcher... finished second in the GNAC in wins (7), strikeouts (87) and first in opponent batting average (.200)... after junior season holds a career 11.28 strikeouts/9 innings ratio... struck out at least seven in eight appearances... team did not lose once all season when Roth made the start.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2018)
Co-GNAC Pitcher of the Year… First Team All-GNAC… Finished with a 5-1 record to tie for third in the GNAC in wins… Led the GNAC with a 3.77 earned-run average… Struck out a team-leading 58 batters for the No. 4 mark in the conference… Held opponents to a .253 batting average which stands as the No. 3 mark in the conference… Second on the team with 57 1/3 innings of work from the mound… Had scoreless outings in seven of his 13 appearances… Tossed seven innings of shutout ball with just two hits allowed against Saint Martin’s on April 21… Matched the seven-inning scoreless stint after allowing just four hits against Concordia on March 24… Struck out at least six batters on six occasions with a season-high eight strikeouts in his season opener against Azusa Pacific on Feb. 9… Earned GNAC Pitcher of the Week honors on March 12... Academic All-GNAC.

AS A FRESHMAN (2017)
Made nine relief appearances on the season… Finished with a 3-0 record on the mound… Struck out 25 batters in 17 innings of work… Allowed 11 hits with just three going for extra-bases… Held opponents to a .183 batting average, including a .143 rate against righties while tallying a 3.18 earned run average… Allowed one run on two hits in two innings of relief work against UC San Diego in collegiate debut… Struck out three batters in that outing… Struck out a season-high nine batters in four innings of work against Central Washington during a 13-7 win in the GNAC Tournament (May 11).

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Mountain Ridge High School in 2016… Two-time letter winner for the Mountain Lions… Academic all-start selection and all-section pick after going 5-0 with a 2.41 earned run average as a senior…  Conference champion and state runner-up... Went 3-0 with a 2.45 ERA as a junior to earn all-section honors while helping the team place third at state… Also played basketball for the Mountain Lions as a forward. 

PERSONAL: Born December 9… Son of Carisa and Andy… Family includes a brother, Zach… Had played baseball since he was four… Majoring in biology with a career goal to go into medicine.
