AS A SOPHOMORE (2008-09)
Indoor: Ran a 9:03.71 in the 3000m at the UW Indoor Preview…Posted a time of 16:21.50 in the 5000m at the GNAC Indoor Championships. Outdoor: Registered a season-best time of 4:08.93 in the 1500m at the WOU-Willamette Dual (3-7)…Also registered a time of 15:48.02 in the Lewis & Clark Invite and a time of 32:22.71 in the 10000m at the Willamette Invite. Cross Country: Member of the All-GNAC Academic team…Ran in all six races…Season-best finish came at the Pacific Lutheran Invite (14th, 26:44.14)…Placed 27th at the GNAC Championships...Also ran in the NCAA West Regionals.
AS A FRESHMAN (2007)
Cross Country: Participated in all six races while recording three top 10 finishes for the Wolves…Finished ninth at both the Summer End Invite (25:47) and the Saint Marin's Invitational (26:51)…Other top 10 finish came in the Pacific Lutheran run as he finished 10th with a 25:59...Also participated in the GNAC conference meet, the NCAA West Regional and the West Coast Preview.
PRIOR TO WOU
District champion on the track in the 3000m and the 1500m in 2006 at Tigard HS…Also won those same events at the Pacific-9 championships…Earned first team All-Pac 9 honors in cross country, second team all-league for the 1500m as a junior.

Born in Portland, Ore., 1989…Psychology and Social Science major...Parents are Jon and Claudia Karr of Tigard...Father is a salesman, Mother is a nurse…Justin has an older sister, Hilary (26), and an older brother Nik (21) who also runs for WOU cross country and participates in track and field.
