AS A SOPHOMORE (2008-09)
Outdoor: Ranks second on the WOU all-time top 10 list in the 10,000m with a time of 31:15.37…Is third on the 5000m list with a time of 14:45.89…Both times are career-bests…Ran a season-best time of 3:59.24 in the 1500m at the Willamette Invite…Won the 1500m at the Charles Bowles Classic with a time of 4:02.03…Participated in distance races in five meets for the Wolves. Indoor: Ranks second on the Wolves all-time top 10 list in the 5000m with a time of 14:51.23…Placed fifth at the GNAC Indoor Championships in the 5000m with a time of 15:36.78. Cross Country: Named the Marquis Spas Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Year…Won the Grass Course Meet with a time of 22:36.50…Ran in the final five races of the season…Recorded three top 5 finishes and five top 20 finishes…Other top five finishes came at the Pacific Lutheran Invite (2nd) and the Pier Park Invitational (5th)…Was the Wolves top finisher at the NCAA Regionals placing 16th with a time of 33:58.1, his lowest finish of the season…Was the Wolves first or second place finisher in all five races he ran.
AS A FRESHMAN (2007-08)
Cross Country: Ran in all six races for Western Oregon…Collected top 15 finishes in five of six races…Best finish came at the Summer End Invite as he placed second with a 25:03…Finished fifth at the Saint Martin's Invite with a 26:12…Placed eight at the Pacific Lutheran Invitational with a time of 25:56…Other top 15 finishes include 11th at the West Coast Preview and 13th at the GNAC championships (26:03.18).
PRIOR TO WOU
A 2007 track and field state qualifier in the 1,500 meters with a time of 4:07.74…Finished third at the 5A state cross country meet…Also placed third on the track in the 3,000 meters at the 5A state meet in Eugene (8:49.11)….Had a prep best of 4:05.51, run at Hayward Field…Lettered three times each for cross country and track and field for the Pelicans…Had the eighth best time in the 2007 track and field bests for the 3000m…2006 XC and 2007 track all-state honoree…Also named to the 2005 and 2006 all-league cross country team, as well as, the 2006 and 2007 track and field All-Southern Sky League team…Participated in the Borderclash 2006 meet…Holds a personal career best of 15:48 in the 5k, 8:49 in the 3k, and 4:05 in the 1500.

Born in Eugene, Ore., 1988…Double major in Economics and Business...Parents are Ed and Jane Reed…Chris is the oldest of 10 children; Steve (19), Andrew (18), Michelle (16), Dave (14), Cindy (12), Jessica (10), Robert (7), Jonathan (6) and McKenna (4)…Note: My grandpa was born in England, my grandma was born in Australia, my mom was born in Wales, my aunt was born in South Africa- but I’ve never set foot out of the U.S.
