With honesty and integrity as our highest priorities, the Western Oregon University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is committed to the principle of institutional control in a manner consistent with the letter and intent of the rules and regulations of the NCAA, Great Northwest Athletic Conference, and Western Oregon University. 

Student-athletes, coaches, staff, alumni, and fans all play an important role in compliance and in the continued success and growth of Wolves Athletics.  This site is intended to provide a basic knowledge of NCAA Division II, GNAC, and WOU rules and regulations, including rules of eligibility; academic standards; and regulations involving amateurism, awards and benefits, financial aid, and recruiting.  While this site is not all-inclusive, it is meant to provide guidance in many frequently-encountered situations.
