On the team’s performance…
“Not adequate. Not good enough. We were totally outperformed in the first half. We were out-toughed, out-executed. I thought our guys came in with a level of softness that’s unacceptable. In the first half, we fought hard. In the second half, it wasn’t enough. We didn’t perform under pressure, and we just didn’t do enough to win a game tonight.”

On being down in points and trying to close the gap…
“Well it’s something that we’ve done before, and we’ll do it again. We’ve got a tough enough group—a gritty enough group, but you can’t start mentally the way that we did. We can perform and come back against good teams. You’ve got to give Saint Martin’s a heck of a lot of credit. They did a nice job.”

On the season so far…
“Well it’s up and down. Tonight is down, but we’ll be up again.”
